York is not very driver friendly, and certainly you should consider that the city centre is basically a pedestrian area. Many of the towers open will be within walking distance, and those that are not can be reached by a dedicated bus service that the RWNYC is providing; team leaders will receive full details of this.
If you are travelling to York in a car, and have a hotel with parking, then leaving the car there during your stay would be the best option.
If you are travelling to York on the day, we recommend one of the several Park and Ride sites. There are long stay car parks in the city but they are very busy and expensive; traffic in the city centre can be particularly bad and is best avoided.
