REGISTRATION DETAILS

This year there will be no central registration point. Team leaders will let their team know where to register and at what time.

At registration, team leaders (or a designated adult) will collect the pack for their team. This will contain:

  • 10 wristbands for team members
  • 3 wristbands for team leaders / responsible adults
  • Programmes for team and team leaders.
  • Name labels for team and team leaders

A limited number of additional wristbands for other young ringers associated with teams who wish to ring at towers will be available to team leaders at £5 each (includes a programme).

Additional programmes may be purchased at registration at £1 each.

PLEASE NOTE: All other adults/supporters not included above are asked to wear a “Supporter” wristband throughout the day. These will be required to gain access to St Martins after 4.30 pm. Team leaders should collect these at registration.

RESULTS

Teams qualifying for the Final:

There will not be a central announcement of the Qualifier results. The names of the 2 teams from each venue who have qualified for the Final, together with the draw, will be posted (using the team codes, AH, BS, CY etc) on the RWNYC Facebook page, tweeted #RWNYC2K17, and available at St Chad’s, St Paul’s, Aston and at the RW desk at St Martin’s.

It is anticipated that this information will be available sometime between 1.00 – 1.30pm.

Full results of the Qualifiers  will be given during the main results at 5.30pm.

If teams in the Final are unable to ring at St Martin’s at their allocated time, they will be able to do so at 4.30pm.

Results and presentation of medals and the Whitechapel Trophy:

Full results and the presentations of medals to all teams, and  the Whitechapel Trophy to overall winners of the contest, will be at St Martin’s, starting at 5.30pm, finishing by 6.30pm.

Please note: St Martin’s will be closed to the general public at 4.30pm. You will therefore need a wristband to gain access to St Martins after this time and for the results. (See notes on Registration above)

REFRESHMENTS

Refreshments are not being provided at the venues, as there are so many places to eat and to buy drinks and snacks in the city centre.

This includes the Tea Lounge at St Martin in the Bullring, which serves a range of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks and cakes. Open on Saturdays from 10.00-16.30.

TOILETS

Definitely available at all the Contest Towers (Qualifiers and Final) and at St Martin’s.
